Provide, both, a statement for and against abolishing the juvenile justice system. Pick one of your statements and defend your choice.

It is one of the hottest and debated topic that, Whether the juvenile justice system should be abolished or not. Different people have different arguments for this. Some are in favor of abolishing the juvenile justice system whereas, others are against it.

The statement for abolishing the juvenile justice system :-

Juvenile justice system doesn't provide constitutional rights for young criminals. In many cases supreme Court held that, the juvenile criminal should be given the same rights as the adults get. People who says that juvenile justice system should abolished, they contend that juveniles are deprived of their rights under juvenile justice system which are :-right to appoint attorney, right to use witness and right against self Incrimination.

The statement against abolishing the juvenile justice system :-

Many juvenile supporters says that , Juveniles are younger than adults hence they have lack of maturity and understanding due to which they commit crimes. It is necessary to send them in rehabilitation center and make them understand to divert their mind from negative things to positive one. For that purpose their environment and company in which they live should be changed. It means they need to be live between positive people where they learn good education, culture and helping society.

My statement :- I think the juvenile system should not be abolished as they are psychologically less developed. Most of juvenile commit crimes because of addiction of substance abuse like drinking wine, smoking weeds, marijuana and taking drugs due to which they lost self control and violate the law.
In many cases, children from good family background commit crimes because of bad friends and bad company in which they live. In many cases it's been found that giving harsh punishment same like adults court, can lead to make juvenile stubborn and may create revenge taking mentality which compel them to commit more crime.

The objective of juvenile justice system is to help the juvenile with their struggle and bring him back to their community as earlier normal life. It is necessary to find the cause due to which juvenile commit crime rather than sending them to adult trial court. The juvenile should be given chance to leave the path of crime and come to their normal life. This way we can protect our further generation and youth.
