Sol:

degrees of freedom for group 1 = 5 - 1 = 4

degrees of freedom for group 2 = 3 - 1 = 2

degrees of freedom for group 3 = 2 - 1 = 1

degrees of freedom for group 1 * group 2 = (5 - 1) * (3 - 1) = 8

degrees of freedom for group 1 * group 3 = (5 - 1) * (2 - 1) =4

degrees of freedom for group 2 * group 3 = (3 - 1) * (2 - 1) = 2

degrees of freedom for group 1 * group 2 * group 3 = (5-1) * (3 - 1) * (2 - 1) = 8

degrees of freedom for total = Number of observations - 1 = 5 * 3 * 2 * 8 - 1 = 239

degrees of freedom for error = 239 - (4 + 2 + 1 +8 + 4 + 2 + 8)

degrees of freedom for error = 210
