Answer #1

Patricia was born with female genitalia, but has always felt like a man. Biological theory would best explain Patricia’s experience.

Biological theories of sexual orientation refers to the vital biological factors such as, genes, uterine development, hormones and brain structure that would determine one’s sexual orientation no matter what sex one was born into. This would mean that the physical sex organs would be overcome by many other changes that would develop during the prenatal stage which would guide one to select the sexual orientation by developing those characteristics and behaviours later in life.
