"All in pricing," as introduced by StubHub, is a marketing and sales tactic used to convey the perception of ethical ticket sales. Defend your stance if you beleive this tactic to be ethical or unethical. Also, describe another strategy for ticket sales that involves a pricing psychology.
All-in-pricing strategy is a common pricing strategy used by companies to claim that all the costs and taxes associated with the product have been included in the price of the company and hence the customer does not has to pay an extra penny. In my views, all-in-pricing strategy is an ethical pricing strategy used for ticket sales. The customer has fair idea of how much he needs to pay for the ticket and no convenience fee or tax is added at the final payment. There is transparency in the overall pricing strategy and hence this tactics is quite fair and ethical.
Another type of pricing strategy which plays with customer psychology is early bird discount. The customers who rush to book tickets and are quite early, get early bird discount. This plays with the human psychology that if they are late in booking tickets, then they may lose on the discount. Hence the customers try to rush to book tickets.

The value of the product life cycle is that it provides clues as to what marketing mix strategies might need to change as the product moves through the cycle. For example, a high-tech product being launched will have to decide whether to use penetration or skimming pricing strategy. That pricing strategy will then determine how much marketing communications is needed and what distribution strategy is needed. Because high-tech products are particularly susceptible to competition and entry of substitute products, the...
