Good things about video games can be as follows:

1. Improves decision making power - Some video games happens to be fast paced in which there are certain events and images that keep popping up and fading away all of a sudden. So this allows people to sense data and choose the right action and take correct decisions at faster pace.
2. Improves the learning ability - Some video games require constant thinking from the player and the game require the player to provide inputs to the game constantly which allows the player to learn new things more rapidly.
3. Improves the focus - The players are required to complete certain missions, perform various tasks in the video games which require constant focus from the players to complete. So that allows the players to increase their focus.

Bad things about video games can be as follows:

1. Violent nature - There are many video games which contain aggressive content like fighting, shooting etc. due to which the players tend to lose their self control and also disturb the players emotionally.
2. Addictive - Video games require certain missions to be completed or mnay tasks to be completed, due to which they require more attention of the player and as the player pays more attention to the game they become addicted to the game and they spend many hours of the day in playing the game.
3. Make players socially inactive - In order to play games, the players used to communicate with their friends in the game only rather than hanging out with their friends which makes them socially inactive.
