A work breakdown structure defines all the things a project needs to accomplish, organized into multiple levels, and displayed graphically. The WBS contains 100% of all the work in the project. At the top level is the project ultimate goal, the second level contains the project objectives, the third level has the project outputs and the fourth level with activities.

In project management, a critical path is the sequence of project network activities which add up to the longest overall duration, regardless if that longest duration has float or not. This determines the shortest time possible to complete the project.

Schedule planning and budgeting is an analytical application that helps you set top-down targets and generate a bottom-up budget, which is at the foundation of your organization's operations. A budget planning calendar is a schedule of activities that must be completed to create and develop a budget.

The chances of risk or the unplanned occurrences of the events should be included in the schedule planning and budget planning so that the project does not get hinder from its objectives and may not affect the project completion and delivery date.

A status report of the project defines the current running status of the project in the schedule to the various stakeholders of the project so that they could make the important decisions related to the project.
