Water molecules exhibit polar covalent bonding due to its partial electropositive and electronegative charges. It can be represented by three medel namely called Bohr model, Space-filling model and Ball-and-stick model. Oxygen represent partially electronegative charge and hydrogen represent partially electropositive charge in the woter..

Being smallest in size hydrogen has highly concentrated positive charge, so have very strong electrostatic attraction with negatively charge oxygen.
