describe two ways that the typical features of a Nuclear Family structure are being neglected by the State in its welfare provisions.
The typical features of a nuclear family structure that are causing it to become neglected by the USA in its welfare provisions are the higher tendency of divorce rates and the differences in the socio-economic status of a family. The higher rates of divorce can lead to behavioral problems in children with an increased tendency of bcoming violent and aggressive with the other family members in the household. Children are not able to spend time with their parents and lose emotional love, care, bonding and secure attachment that is required during the initial stages of growth and development. Thus there is an increasing trend towards single parent families. The other negative impacts include lack of interaction with friends and peers, lack of social communication and lack of interest in academics and studies. There are different types of welfare services in USA like child protection, child adoption, family care services and rehabilitation services. If a child is a victim of child abuse or neglect there the child can inform the protection services with appropriate proof of neglect so that appropriate action can be taken so that protection is ensured for the victim child in the future. Abused children are placed in special care homes with a environment that fosters care and love for them so that they can overcome the trauma that is faced by them at home. There are several ways in which the welfare of the nuclear structured families is being neglected by the USA like the incidence of juvenile crime, sexual violence, physical abuse, domestic misbehavior and violence, substance abuse, emotional disturbance and lack of maintenance and provision of monetary help to the children. The children may get addicted to substance abuse drugs or may commit suicide if they do not get the basic facilities and infrastructure required for their well-being and development.

Now consider a typical Cournot duopoly situation such that the market is being served by two firms (Firm 1 and Firm 2) that simultaneously decide on the level of output to sell in the market, while producing an identical product. The total output of the industry is Q = q1 + q2, where q1 and q2 are the output of Firm 1 and 2, respectively. Each firm has a symmetric cost function: C(q1) = 12 q1 and C(q2) = 12...
