Neurotransmitter causing opening of sodium channels is excitatory in nature and cause depolarization of post synaptic neuron. ( Excitatory post synaptic potential).

While neurotransmitter causing opening of chloride ions is inhibitory in nature and cause hyperpolarization of post synaptic neuron. (Inhibitory post synaptic potential)

So according to this option a and b gets incorrect.

When both neurotransmitter work simultaneously there will be less depolarization in neuron B as compared to the condition when only neuron A sending signals.
