Beavers are known to shape the environment in which they live. These are the ecosystem engineers of the the nature where they carry out building of dams to changing water for their own requirement. They also carry out dam building controlling the quantity as well as quality of water. The ponds as well as flooded areas would be creating habitat for different forms of animals as well as plants.
