She gives you the following map, and she also gives you a radioactively labeled probe that is specific for the scl gene. Devise an experimental protocol to isolate the gene from-the genomic DNA, what enzymes would you use to digest the DNA? How would you isolate the specific fragment from all the other genomic fragments? Genomic DNA surrounding the ssel gene (the bars represent restriction enzyme sites and numbers epresent position in the chromosome as determined by restriction enzyme site mapping)

In order to isolate the ssc1 gene from the genome of the Cron, we need to digest the genome first with Ava1 and BamHI. This will give two fragments of size 2800bp and 1900bp. Fragment of 2800 base pair is our interested fragment. To further confirm it we need to hybridize the 2800bp fragment with the radiolabelled probe.
