Matter as Wave: Someone asks you how we know that matter has a wave nature. List the experiments that show this and describe how the experiments establish the wave nature of matter

some phenomena like Blackbody radiation, Photoelectric effect , Compton effect shows the interaction of light (wave ) with particle (electron) . This leads that wave has particle nature .

But then de broglie said , " not only does radiation exhibit particle-like behavior, but matter particles themselves display Wave-like behavior." Initially this was a hypothesis .

Later Davisson-Germer experiment, Thomson experiment prove this experimentally. In Davisson-Germer experiment Wave-like pattern is formed with matter particle electron by the process of diffraction. Again in Thomson experiment the Wave-like pattern is formed with electron by the process of Interference .

So, matter particle like electron producing diffraction pattern , interference pattern which are the properties of a wave .

So, matter particle behaves like wave .
