Can someone help me understand how we can solve these nmr problems. The formula is C7H7NO3. The Professor solves it without referring mass spec or IR. How can we do this?

These are quite easy.

The 13C NMR clearly shows 7 carbon signals one of which is a methyl.

In proton NMR also 7H protons integration are there with 3 hydrogen for one methyl.

-OH peak shows broad peaks sometimes and you can confirm it by deterium exchange.

Actually from 1D coupling calculation your professor have written 2-3 probable structure. You can confirm their position by analising 2D NMR.
