Answer #1

In chemical reactions, we take one or more Chemicals (also known as reactant) which reacting with each other and giving us the main product but sometimes they are also giving some site products.

-f Ho

Here, in this chemical reaction we have 2 reactant which giving us product with no side product these type of reaction called addition reaction.

In exercise, question(b) and questions(c) are these type of example because they will give no side product.

How to find the missing reactant or product:-

1. First noticed that which carbon undergoes in change in configuration.

here only carbon 1st and 2nd are undergoes in the change.

2. find what changes occur in the reaction.

Hence, here only the addition of two bromine molecule takes place which can be come from br2 molecule.

3. Add the missing chemical in the reaction.

1. Here only carbon 3rd and 4th are undergoes in change in configuration.

Here only two hydrogen are adding which can be come from H2 molecule.

In the question (a) there is a two product and only one reactant these type of reaction also known as elimination reactions where is a side product is get eliminated.

1. The change occur only on Carbon 1st and 2nd

2. thus, clearly one atom of Hydrogen and one atom of chlorine is get eliminated which will be shown as HCl.

so the complete reaction will behhhh
