Ans 5. 3 conditions are ....

a- The Higher level of traffic service is provided in terms of the higher overall speed and reduced number of stops ..

b- There are few accident because the platoons of vehicle at each signal when it is green , thereby reducing the possibility of the red signal violation , and rear end collision...

c- The greater obedience to the signal command which is obtained from the motorist and paedistrian.

A6....Three critera are -

a- The number of lanes provided for each approach have a significant impact on the capacity for interaction,

b- a movement served by two lanes rather than one have a higher capacity which requires aless green light time to serve demand.

c- increasing the number of lanes on a particular leg of interaction also increase the minimum pedestrian cross time accross that leg, whuch by increasing the clearance time will offset some of the increase in capacity.
