Answer #1

Q. Which of the following modification in mRNA is required for promoter escaping of Eukaryotic RNAP?

Answer

1. Option b phosphorylation is the right answer because, In eukaryotic transcription, promoter escape need hydrolysis of ATP which phosphorylate at the C-terminal domain (CTD) of RNA pol II.

2. Option B is the right answer because events that are taking place in splicing are

First U2 bound with branch point sequence and make complex A

then lariat is from in complex C (catalytic spliceosome) by ligation of 5' end to A sequence of intron, finally

3' splice site is cut in post-spliceosomal complex and exons are ligated.
