Quality management plan for building a Target retail location in Canada :-

Thousands of businesses and organizations operates daily with a good quality management plan which has the potential to strive financially by creating a refined plan that values not only the future prosperity or market share but also the targeted consumer. This helps the organization to grow and expand during the competitive times. It helps and guides the manager and executive of quality management, and quality assurance activities for a programme. The purpose of quality management plan should describe the method and the procedure to be followed in order to maintain the quality, throughout the life cycle of the programme. Quality is the degree to which the project fulfills the requirement. The key component identified by the quality management plan are as under:

1. Project deliverables and processe: This is a key project subject to quality review for deliverables and processes subject to quality review.    2. Deliverable Quality Standard: These are the measures used to determine a successful outcome for a deliverable. They may vary depending upon the type of project. 3. Customer satisfaction: This is the criteria to describe when each deliverable is complete and acceptable by the customer. This criteria is used to evaluate the deleverables. 4. Quality Control Activities: It monitors and varifies that the project deliverable meets the defined quality. 5. Process Quality Standard: This standard determines the work processes according to the set measures. 6. Stake Holder expectation: The expectation of the stake holder describes the effectiveness of the project process according to them e.g. the review and approval of all high impact leads to changes in the project. 7. Quality Assurance Activities: This describes the effectiveness followed by the deleverable.

Creation of Quality management plan: Everyone wants to build a quality solution which can be achieved only on meeting of customer's expectations for quality. It describes the process and activities to ensure that quality productes are produced. It contains the following information:-

1. Major deliverable which identifies the project definition to be validated. 2. Completeness and correctness describes that each deliverable is upto the specification. 3. Quality standard is an important area where the project team should be aware of. They should develop certain standards. 4. Quality tools describes the list of tools which the team will utilize to manage and control e.g. standard spreadsheet, templates etc. 5. Quality roles includes quality assurance specialist and project testers who would be responsible for focussing on overall quality of the product. 6. Quality control activities is necessary as it meets the quality expectations. 7. Quality assurance activities perform the effectiveness of the process being used to create the delieverables on the project. 8. Leadersip:- Quality management system functions when the top management shows their commitments by leading, communicating and uniting everyone in the organization to achieve the company's desired goals and by providing necessary resources to accomplish them. 9. Involvement of people:- Quality management systems sees that everyone is involved in the activities of the company including the decision making process.

Target retail location in Canada:- Target Canada Company is the eighth largest discount retailer in the United States. It deals with products like beauty and health products, food, furniture, jewellers, pet supplies, bedding, clothing, electronics, accessories, shoes, sporting goods, toys and games. The first store was opened in March 2013 and was operating 133 stores by the end of January 2015. Its competitors included Wallmart Canada, Loblaws, Shoppers drugmart and Canadian tire. Quality management plan succeeds when the cost of the system is less, than the cost of the defects and poor service.
