Explain why group cohesion is important and how to build it.
Group cohesion is an attribute of a group where the members like one another, they like the group and there is generally a higher degree of similarity and communication within the group. When a group achieves cohesion, they communicate better, they work well together, they have a higher degree of loyalty and belongingness, and eventually this improves the overall group performance. Considering all these points, the group becomes more production and positive towards their goal. This is a boon for any organization (in most cases) and thus organizations attempt to achieve group cohesion.
