Use the base-pairing rules- A bonds with T, and C bonds with G and for each base in the original sequence.

During transcription, the RNA polymerase read the template DNA strand in the 3′→5′ direction, but the complementary strand is formed in the 5′ to 3′ direction.

Given sequence is :-

3'- AATGCTAC-5'

mRNA is formed in the 5' to 3'. So sequence is

5'-TTACGATG-3'

But RNA Polymerase read the sequence 3' to 5' so write answer is

3'-GTAGCATT-5'
