Answer #1

We have to make the phylogenetic tree on the basis of chromosome number.

Human Gorilla Orangutan Chimpan-e -zee +48 chromosome + 46 chromosome

Human have 46 chromosome where as gorilla, orangutans and chimpanzee have 48 chromosome.

Human is the outgroup in the phylogenetic tree. Because human have different chromosome count from rest of the taxon.

The human's chromosome trait is ancestral.

can help me writing a summary please Chromosomal Aberrations and Human Disorders In addition to mutations that alter the information content of a single gene, chromosomes may be subjected to more extensive alterations that occur most commonly during cell division. Pieces of a chromosome may be lost or segments may be exchanged between different chromosomes. Because these chromosomal aberrations follow chromosomal breakage, their incidence is increased by exposure to agents that damage DNA, such as viral infection, X‐rays, or reactive...

Since the 1980s, HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) has been infecting humans around the world causing the condition known as AIDS (Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome). HIV, like all viruses, needs to enter cells and use their machinery to reproduce and spread. During HIV infection, the virus enters specific cells of the immune system (T-cells) by "docking" onto cell surface proteins, including one called CCR5 Genetic analysis of individuals who are naturally immune (resistant) to HIV have revealed that resistance to HIV...

A Chinese restaurant wants to have a computer-based search system that will display a recipe for each dish. The owner of the restaurant wants the system to be flexible in that its recipes are stored in a text file. This way, the number of dishes can be expanded by adding more entries to the text file without changing any program code. After analyzing the coding the restaurant realizes that Current coding only outputs first two line of the recipe. Goal:...

The role of the hydraulic dashpot is to provide a viscous force that will prevent the door from slamming against...

    2. A dominant allele H reduces the number of body bristles that Drosophila flies have, giving rise to a “hairless” phenotype. In the homozygous condition, H is lethal. An independently assorting dominant allele S has no effect on bristle number except in the presence of H, in which case a single dose of S suppresses the hairless phenotype, thus restoring the "hairy" phenotype. However, S also is lethal in the homozygous (S/S) condition. What ratio of hairy to hairless flies...
