1. Prokaryotes are not monophyletic. They can be polyphletic becuase it includes both archea and bacteria . And can also be paraphyletic as it descended from a common evolutionary ancestor or ancestral group that is prokaryotic lineages but not including all the descendant groups.

2. Prokaryotes include chemoautotrophs , photoautotrophs , chemoheterotrophs and photohetrotrophs.

1. Statement a and c is correct .

2. Statement c is correct as  diplomonads do have modified mitochondria which is known mitisomes in them . Mitochondria do not contain prokaryotic type ribosome .
