If DNA polymerase adds a G across from an 'A' in the template strand during DNA replication (and it is not repaired/replaced), what kind of mutation results after the next round of replication? Briefly explain

In DNA A base pairs with T, If DNA polymerase adds G instead of T to A in the template strand and if this error is not removed AG basepair is formed.

In the next round of replication, strand with A and strand with G are used as template strands.

DNA replication the template strand with A, DNA polymerase adds T.

DNA replication using the template strand with G, DNA polymerase adds C.

so in one daughter DNA molecule AT basepair is mutated to GC basepair.
