A) there would be more chloride shift in person doing exercise.
Cl shift is a reaction in which, bicarbonate ions leave RBC and enters into plasma. In order to maintain ionic equlibrium equal amount of cl- enter in to RBC, thus maintain equilibrium. Chloride shift is directly proportional to Co2 concentration in blood. More Co2 production , more enter into RBC by simple diffusion and more carbonic acid production by carbonic anhydrase. This carbonic acid dissocte in to bicarbonate and in proton ions. This bicarbonate leave RBC and entry into plasma. So similar amount of Cl also enter in to RBC. There is more amount of co2 release in blood during exercise, so chloride shift will be more.
B) decrease surface tension will be associated with decreased inspiration.
