Osmosis is flow of water from it's higher concentration to it's lower concentration.

In this the water will move from a hypotonic solution to hypertonic solution till both the solutions are isotonic.

Hypertonic solution is which has less amount of water compared to the cell placed inside it.

Hypotonic solution is which has more amount of water compared to the cell placed inside it.

Isotonic solution is which has equal amount of water as the cell placed inside it.
