As heat is given by

Q = mc ∆T

Where m is the mass of substance

C is the specific heat which is for water is 4.18 J/K

∆T is the temperature difference

When ice cubes gets completely melts its difference should be 100°C

So Q = 24 x 4.18 x 100 = 10032 joules = 10.032 kJ
