How are the dimensions of management culture of Germany, Ireland, and Poland similar to the USA?
(300 words; please no plagiarism)
Answer
The dimension of Management culture of Germany Ireland and Poland
are similar to USA in a way that all of these four countries are
sequential cultural dimension. In sequential time culture the most
important priority is given to time. All of these four countries
believe that it all the projects must be completed in stages as per
the plant time schedule. Any type of delay in project is not
tolerated in all of these four countries. They believe that time is
money and once there is loss of time it is directly proportional to
loss of money. So it is extremely important that each stage is
finished on the pre planned time. The countries having sequential
cultures see time as one line consisting of equal building blocks
and then they act accordingly. All the activities are placed along
that line in a sequential order and a logical way so that the
optimum utilization can be done in the most efficient way. This
dimension can be simply summarized by asking to do things one at a
time or many things get done at once but in a sequential way. The
countries of Germany Ireland Poland and United States of America
handle time almost in the same way. They believe that event and
task happen in a chronological order. They always pay focus to
punctuality, agendas, schedules and clear deadlines which they
considered to be of highly important and must be achieved at any
cost. These countries always pay attention only to one project at
one time and they do not take simultaneous projects at one time and
they always lay clear deadlines before taking the project and
acting on it. One of the main features of sequential culture is
that they always set realistic deadlines and they bound to achieve
the task under this deadline.
