Barr bodies are the inactivated X chromosome in the somatic cells. If a female has 2 barr badies then she must have 47 chromosomes with XXX as the sex chromosome

Bar bodies are formed in order to keep only enough amount of genetic material required. Hence body inactivates any X chromosome more than 1 inside the cells.

As the amount of expression of the X chromosome is restored inside the cells the individual has a normal phenotype.
