Within my company, scope for opportunity and strategic alignment are the most important paradoxes for choosing projects. The management put many software companies in most of the time, which they think can be successful or improve the performance of the company.

Such providers are happy to let us try to purchase the program if it is proven to be really useful. Nevertheless, as leadership determines, they will take decisions by weighing each solution's advantages and disadvantages. Christensen addressed the use of technical and political judgment in decision taking. That is, what is rational, and what is possible politically.

Our company may only pick projects in line with its mandate of strategic alignment. Andersen says a project plan is often a hierarchy of goals which are interlinked in cause-and-effect chains, which display the degree of ambition for a project. The leadership most often selects projects to give the organization the greatest impact.

In the early stage of the project selection, resources tend to be wasted, because we have to spend time with a variety of DEV solutions to figure out if the solution will help the company. Such activities have, however, had a beneficial influence on the organisation's reputation.

We have offices in India and I have learnt about the tradition of gender equality in India. Most of the partners I worked with on my project are male. Often I have worked with the female and noticed that during projects or collaboration they are more reserved and appear to be shy. In the United States, we are also trying to persuade them not to fear feedback or ideas. To date we have not had any problem with project efficiency, but these cultural differences may lead to a problem if not properly managed in future.
