Answer #1

MRSA stands for Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus which is a bacterial infection that affects all parts of the body it is considered to be difficult to control because it is cannot be treated by many antibiotics . It is caused by a bacteria Staphylococcus aureus (staph) bacteria that lives in all our body (externally)but most people do not develop any sort of infection . These bacteria causes infection when they enter into the body and damages the cells leading to mild skin infections like boils or abscesses which gradually progresses to severe infection

Initially these infection were confined within hospitals but during late 90s there was otu break which lead to spreading of these infection.

There are two types namely healthcare associated MRSA and community associated MRSA.

The current method of controlling MRSA both at community and healthcare level is based on proper environmental and hand hygiene and isolation and proper care of wounds.

Even though the control methods are difficult to follow and administer it helps in preventing and reducing the occurrence of the infection as it is difficult to treat prevetion and eduaction about MRSA is the first step of treatment
