To Vape or not to Vape? Is Vaping a safer alternative to smoking cigarettes?
Choose to be Pro or Con
Proponents (pro) believe- Vaping is a safer alternative to smoking traditional cigarettes. They do not contain the many known carcinogenic ingredients that cause chronic disease and death. They also allow people a method of smoking cessation that will help them quit the use of nicotine altogether.
Opponents believe (Con)- E-cigarettes are potentially explosive devices that addict teens and young adults to nicotine and most likely cause unknown serious health problems.
Research 3 Key Pro or Con points about the Vaping debate depending on what position you choose. You will only represent either the Pro side or the Con side. NOTE: You can take either side of the issue despite your personal beliefs.
Make sure you indicate whether you are representing the Pro position or Con (example: I am taking the Pro position because……) position then:
List/describe your 3 key points. Make sure you include why you believe these points (you must back up your opinion with at least one reference for each point!).
I am taking pro position because:
I believe in the following.
1. Vaping is way safer than smoking. Since there is no involvement of combustion. And also the removal of Ash and tar has added benefits of vaping. And helps user to get smoke free. Improving oral health, good circulation and better lung capacity. Athletes who smoke regularly do not recover from muscle fatigue as fast as they should be. So inclusión of smoke brings added dangers to the smoking community.
2. The foul breathe of smokers is a very bad sign. Due to the smell of smoke the breathe stinks like burning Ash. Where as in vaping as there is no smoke involved there is little to no smell.
3. Thirdly the capers have the autonomy over their nicotine consumption and they can work their way down and completely eliminate the nicotine consumption instead of procrastinate to quit smoking. Nicotine consumption in high dose can destroy sleep cycle. So people who suffer from smoking habit tend to go to vaping and gradually leave the addiction of smoking and nicotine which is very beneficial for them.
