what are some pros and cons to a neo biological society
Neo biological society is the new form organisation of people with social evolution.
A swarm of bees, or a cloud of modems, or a network of brain neurons, or a food web of animals. The class of systems to which all of the above belong is variously called: networks, complex adaptive systems, swarm systems. Collection of many (thousands) of autonomous members. These autonomous members are highly connected to each other, but not to a central hub. They thus form a peer network. Since there is no center of control, the management and heart of the system are said to be decentrally distributed within the system, as a hive is administered.
The main features of this group or society include.
Pros
Evolvable: They could shift the locus of adaptation over time from one part of the system to another.
Novelty: Individual variation and imperfection can be allowed as they do not purely depend on individuals.
Adaptable: They are adjusted to an existing stimulus, but they could together shift into a system for different stimuli.
Increasing Specialization: Division of labor, every hierarchy have different specialization. Expertise in different levels.
Cos
Nonoptimal: As they are decentralized their optimization is less. They tend to be less efficient in resource management.
Noncontrollable: No controllable authority.
Nonpredictable: The complexity of the system bends it in unforeseeable ways.
Increased latency period: Rich hierarchies take time to boot up. The more complex, the longer it takes to warm up.
Increasing Codependency: Every individual is one or the other way dependent on another member.
