We frequently hear of an organization's mission and vision statement, but value statements are not as popularized. Tell me, in your own words, what a value statement is and tell me what your current or previous job's value statement is.

In my view Value statement states the a set of values which an organization carries by itself to showcase its culture and beliefs and every individual contribute towards the same, which reflects the organizational perspective and action performed to deal with any challenging situations. In general terms, value statement includes the ethical principles to which an organization abide by and good reference to community members externally. Overall, value statement encourages to achieve organizational vision, mission and goals. For example, One of the value statement from my previous employer was, “ Offer a good ethical product, treat your customer first and celebrate together” and the one of the value considered was “customer service excellence” apart from the “accountability” and “alignment”.
