Yes it does definetly increase. E. G before 1900s inequality ong sexes was higher in usa but due to greater participation of women in labour force inequality has fallen

An employed lady has definetly more income and has more bargaining power with husband for example. She is not as much dependent on husband as an unemployed women. So she can't be easily coerced by threats of divorce. Neither is such women ready to accept inhuman treatment of their fathers, brothers etc. Similarly Women working as boss are less susceptible to preying eyes of sexual exploiters. Employed women have more choice to choose. E. G they have greater freedom of choosing their husbands
