Question: Do you think all HR knowledge and information can be turned into a database?
Human intelligence is the intelligence of the finest level that is achieved by humans and is proven to be superior across all other creatures in the world. The complex cognitive skills associated with it only sets to prove that while database can assist an HR person to seek information and draw conclusions thereupon, the analysis is largely motivated by a person’s knowledge and self-awareness about the system under concern.
In this regard, it could be said that it is not possible to convert such complex knowledge of the Human Resource into a database completely. The cost of storing such complex information and idea is high for the maintenance of a database. There could further be a possibility of security breach. HR knowledge is like a vast sea and it keeps evolving over a period of time and shall differ in the way it is perceived from person to person. This further makes the issue of knowledge storage complicated.
Owing to all these reasons, I do not think that all HR knowledge and information can be turned into a database because human knowledge is highly dynamic in nature as well.
