If you have been involved in a benchmarking exchange, please share your experience.

This performance improvement strategy was used in my product cost accounting as I participated in the benchmarking exchange. I've got the cost sheet of related business goods for this. And then, in benchmarking, I found that my basis for allocating overhead costs is wrong and different than similar industry products. And in my accounting process I use best practice basis for allocating overheads.

Do you think benchmarking code of conduct is necessary? Why or why not?

Yeah!Yeah! I consider benchmarking very relevant. Whether you're just starting out and finding possibilities and changes, or trying to be the best. Benching labeling helps an organization to identify key elements to enhance or incorporate information for a productive organization.

Do you think the benefits of benchmarking out-way its costs? Why or why not?

I assume that the advantages of benchmarking outweigh its drawbacks. This is meaningful because its objective is to identify the best, study and learn from it, and improve the way it is learned. Griffith, 2006. Griffith. Benchmarking helps businesses understand better what makes them succeed, leading to higher results. In reality, different measures are available to prevent business mistakes, based on lessons learned from others. Data shared throughout the process can be used to their advantage by valuable information companies.
