During this course and syllabus, i have gathered a great deal of knowledge in healthcare field. before taking this course, i have no idea about healthcare and its concepts like long term care, residential care, medicaid,medicare,healthcare laws etc. Now, i can show how much i have learned during this course which would help me in future career as i want to be a nurse in long term care facility.

From this course, i came to know that long term facility has been trend in healthcare industry and has great scope because of increase rise in population age in US country. This created a need for providing health care to older people as well children who can not take care of themselves but need assistance to do their daily tasks .

the learning outcome from this course is that quality of care is very important in every healthcare organization. If long term facilities or residential care are able to provide high quality care to their patients then they can reduce business cost as well as reduce chances of patient dis satisfaction.

second learning outcome i learned is that following healthcare laws like HIPPA laws, privacy laws, Obamacare law made great impact on healthcare and its access to people. As we all know that privacy of patient is very important and its violation can bring legal issues to my healthcare organization as well as on me if i work as nurse or administration staff in future and involve in leaking or sharing of information of patients. knowledge of this would help me to do my job legally.

I would say,This course created more interest and curiosity to learn more about healthcare particularly long term care in times like this in our country.
