Why would it be difficult to define/determine true “mechanical efficiency” of running?
The conversion of the metabolic to work is defined as the mechanical efficiency.
During running, energy(ATP) is required and this is obtained through the oxidation of glucose(in normal cases). The energy when ATP hydrolysis to ADP and inorganic phosphate.Since during this hydrolysis some energy is lost as heat, therefore the true energy change or efficiency cannot be calculated.
ATP
ADP +Pi+
heat.
Therefore only 65-75% of the energy is available for muscle contraction.

Why is the term ideal weight difficult to define? Explain some of the problems with determining th measure. What role does it play in weight management?
How would you define "efficiency" for a public agency? Would it be the same definition for public works as it would be for public safety?
True, false, or uncertain: technical efficiency leads to allocative efficiency. Please explain why and include the definition of technical efficiency and allocative efficiency in the answer
Physics Prelab 1) Define actual and theoretical mechanical advantage, using words as well as equations. 2) Define efficiency. 3) What law of physics forbids the efficiency of an actual machine from being equal to 1? (100% efficiency) 4) Is a screw an example of a wheel and axle, lever, or inclined plane? 5) What is the efficiency of a wooden ramp (μ =0.4) at an angle of 20 degrees?
Describe how receivables can be falsified, why they would be falsified, and why it is difficult to uncover such fraud??
Determine the efficiency of the MLE for or state why efficiency doesn’t apply. N (0, 0) N (0, 0)
Define an Efficient Market. What factors would tend to promote efficiency? Outline the implications of market efficiency for (i) Directors and Managers of firms and (ii) Market regulators. Is the factors that promote efficiency > Information available in the market? And how does it impact the directors, and regulators?
Explain why it is so difficult to determine if RNAs are under selection. (in terms of genetics)
4) [10 pts] Flat-belt drive efficiency The mechanical efficiency of a flat-belt drive is approximately 98 percent. Because of its high value, the efficiency is often neglected. If a designer should choose to include it, where would he or she insert it in the flat-belt protocol? O Har H. Hd = Hom Kindeff O HA= Hj = Hom Keff cil An efficiency of less than unity lowers the output for a given input. Since the object of the drive is...
Why would it be more difficult to replace an ankle than a knee, or hip, or even an elbow or shoulder?
