There are two methods of dealing with this incident, first to talk and convenience the employee who has a discriminative approach towards he co-worker and explain his or her that such an act is against the law and morality and it should be prevented. The second approach is that I can report the incident to the management and take the issue to the disciplinary committee.
I will report the incidence to the manager and complaint against the employee regarding his bad behavior as it can have a serious impact both on the organization in case of a lawsuit and also on the brand image of the company so a strict action must be taken
The incidences of discrimination at the workplace can be overcome by providing the training to the employee on the importance of diversity and forming the work teams in which the people from different backgrounds are combined so that in order to fulfill the team goal, they have to interact with each other than it will help develop better communication and corporation among the team members.
The same practices as in the case of the workplace can be used as those practices are important to neutralize the feeling of discrimination
