The product which can raise the issue of product liability to Manufacturer are Power banks used for Mobile and tablet charging. any manufacturing defects like poor placement of batteries, poor material used for casing which can catch fire or break easily or poor placement of circuit and ports cause electric shock etc to consumers. These issues can be prevented in design process where manufacturer would make a checklist of all unsafe aspects in power bank which could be happen then remove them from the design . second manufacturer will provide the guard like feature in power bank so if consumer accidently do something so it can guard them like use of metal case which can prevent high heating because of reaction of cell batteries . Provide auto shutdown feature to stop charging in exccess.also manufacturer should provide product warning and instructions like do not leave power bank near fire or never use power bank with duplicate chargers. use company supplied charger only etc

Product liability can be minimized is by design to standards application in which manufacturer would set standards like good quality casing, double quality check of batteries, set standards against weather and environmental conditions or unexpected shock to know how power bank reach in these conditions.

the quality and design team should do reviews to see the loose ends and design defects are not present in the power bank like loose casing or poor placement of battery can make design more bulky and heavy.
