Answer #1

Insults and innuendos especially when we consider their impact over the workplace environment serves no purpose other than satisfying the ego of the individual. Criticism can be a good thing but insulting somebody just causes a feeling of mistrust and resentment towards each other.

It can cause a team or a group to start developing conflict amongst them, affecting their productivity and impacting their morale as well.

2. Emotional damping is the factor where individuals especially when interacting with each other tend to suppress their emotion, especially in a formal context. We need to understand that the need to keep emotions in check is necessary to make critical decisions without any personal bias.

But when we need to consider emotional damping we can say that suppressing emotions for a long time can end up creating frustration and can cause an individual to harbor negative feelings towards another. This can subconsciously affect their decisions and therefore can be a negative aspect for the proper functioning of the company.
