1)The evolution of sexual reproduction represents how the organisms that are capable of reproducing sexually which could have evolved from a single celled general predecessor which is eukaryotic.

The Prokaryotic sexual reproduction starts about 2 billion years before and when the prokaryotic organism started to swap genes through various processes. Meanwhile, the eukaryotic organisms it evolved in the Last eukaryotic common ancestor through various processes of changing success so as to continue then.

2) The evolution of sexual reproduction has two subjects that are related but different - The origin & maintenance.

The origin details are given in the 1st hypothesis. Sexual reproduction is obtained from recombination and it need to provide advantages in fitness to a particular species.
