describe a current experience (this does not need to be personal, but it can be! Your journals are not shared with other students.) that is relevant to deviance. You can describe something that may be considered deviant that you observed at home, work, or the community; something you saw or heard in the media, or some other current event. Include a description of the deviant attitude, values, belief, or behavior; what norm was violated to earn the label of deviance; and your own reaction to that information (to quote a scene from Freaky Friday, how does that make you feel? Do you think the label is accurate? What are or will be the consequences of such a label?).

here, let me describe a situation that could be described and considered as deviant at work, organization has faced recent situation, in that program, organization fired an woman due to her pregnancy, as organization faced their work situation very difficult, further, that woman wanted to take leave due to her deteriorating health condition, such case was not permitted by the organizational leadership team on a ground that organization will incur big loss because of absence of such worker. Hence, organizational leadership team has decided to fire such woman employee,
such kind of situation could be described of deviant attitude, values belief or behavior, as, organization has violated anti discrimination practices, organization has kept sufficient respect for such patient employee, organization also violated civil rights act.
My reaction is that in such situation, organization should relief such employees and help them to take necessary leave and support them so, they can come back again, here, leadership team should be compassionate for such issues, they could follow alternatives like transfer of duty to the peers, they should respect civil rights and respect their people, understand the underlying situation.
Here, Label is accurate, I feel that this situation is fully unethical, organization should change their direction from such activities.
There are several consequences of such situation, first of all, such act is fully unethical, employees will be in fear, other employees could not keep their mind to work due to such unethical practices, woman rights also devalued, hence, organizational service level could be going down, they brand value could take poor reputation due to such behavior.
