Which influencing tactics do you tend to use most and least? Why? How will you further develop your ability to influence using influence tactics? How would you rate/describe your relationship with a current or past boss and why? Given what we are learning, what will you do differently in the future to improve your relationship with your boss?

Which influencing tactics do you tend to use most and least? Why?

I used the consultation tactics the most while influencing. This comes naturally to me as I believe in implementing a democratic system and love to communicate and exchange my ideas with others. This helps me in earning the trust of my peers and the issue is resolved far more amicably in this manner.

The tactic I use the least is pressure. I hate to force someone to do something they don't feel inclined to do. I believe in developing an open and free system and respecting others' wishes and freedom as much I love my own. Therefore, pressuring someone doesn't appeal to me as a tactic to influence.
