Immigration is a situation when people from native country move to another country for many purposes like for job security, security, shelter, etc and living there permanently.

The given statement says that if we eliminate all barrier to immigration but this will not create a very good situation among all the countries.

if the barriers are eliminated then people around the world have even with the smallest problem will switch to another country without any resistance and it will actually hamper the economic growth of any country because the government cannot decide what is the actual population, how many peoples are daily entering the country.

the government cannot decide the policy to regulate the economy in a more efficient way the whole system will actually crash and create a hodgepodge

Apart from it is also it does not give security that which type of people are entering in any country.

Suppose a terrorist motive organization moves its people to a peaceful country then the situation can be worsened to the peaceful country and it will totally destroy the economic growth of that country.

so it is not a good idea to eliminate all the barriers to immigration
