As we know, modern society is transforming rapidly and its pace is supporting by modern technologies and scientific researches. Last few decades, we have some dramatic changes in technology, every day we can experience a new invention, research, and technology. When I was young, I couldn’t even think about high speed communication between two people living different parts of the world but now we have the ability to communicate with anyone at any time.

If you put yourself at the place of Columbus, Vasco-De-Gama or other voyagers, you wouldn’t believe that it is possible to communicate with single device.

Every bright side has a dark one, psychologically we get affected most by things which stay around us for a long time, and cellphone includes all our needs so we carry it every time. It provides us entertainment, social networking, creativity and, almost everything what we need daily. It conditions our behavior in a particular manner and we feel it as a primary need.

1- When we talk about teenagers, we must be aware of their developmental behavior and interests. Teenagers show strong connections with peer groups, they experience social commitments and activeness which made them very aggressive and energetic. Cellphones provide them social connections and participation and educational support. But cellphones made them dependent on a particular thing and condition their behavior in a unique way so they get addicted or habitual to a machine and can’t even think to live without it.

2- The smartphone limits physical interactions and increases virtual interactions while our fundamental instincts are social interaction and physical attachments, that is why excessive use of smartphone make a person physically and psychologically alone and increase the probability of stress and depression. When a child grows with electronic gadgets may become dependent on it and these things controls his/her behavior.

3- A long term excessive use of smartphone can cause addiction and causes deviated behavior, recent studies suggests that infant is depending on smartphone due lack of parental care and real interactions they play virtual games and lives in a virtual world while the real world is different so they experience behavior problems and social interactions.

4- Radiations form smart phone changing our behavior as well as anatomy, a new study suggests that German young generations developing new bone structure due to neck down and elbow angling for a long time, when we use smartphones, we continue to concentrate on screen and maintain a particular elbow gesture which causes pain, traumatic problems, and anatomical modifications.

5- Mental and physical health is more important than anything, smartphones limit our area of cognition and condition our behavior. Social media is a preferable tool for teenagers but they are not able to discriminate real and fake news and information which develops an irresponsible approach and a new but virtual ideology.

In my personal opinion and experiences, the smartphone is good if we use it in control manners but if we use these things as fundamental needs, they have an ability to modify and limit our open thinking ability and emotions.
