Goals of healthy neighbourhood

The main goal of healthy neighbourhood provides the health improvement of communities by integrating health considerations into their planning, land use, other decisions etc.

Social and economic conditions, strong ties and trust with neighbours influences the health by affecting access to public resources, employment opportunities, good schools and effective police force etc.

Some good values develops a healthy atmosphere around us. It is very important to keep respect, help and friendship between neighbours. Neighbours should need to communicate, respect and help each others in order to live in a peaceful environment.

Wellness is the stage of mental, physical and spiritual well beings and it includes physical, social, spiritual, emotional,occupational, financial, environmental, intellectual, and sexual wellness.

The ability to relate and connect other people in society is the social wellness and it contributes the ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with friends, family, co-workers, neighbourhoods etc. The ability to understand ourselves and to cope up with the challanges and problems in the life is the emotional wellness and it contributes the ability to acknowledge and share feelings such as fear, sadness, anger, stress, hope, love, joy and happiness in a productive manner.

The ability to establish peace and harmony in our lives is the spiritual wellness and it contributes the ability to develop compatibility between actions and values to realize common purposes to binds the creations. The ability to recognize our own responsibility for maintaining the quality of air, water and the land is the environmental wellness and it contributes the ability to protecting the surrounding environment, communities or the world.

The ability to maintain a healthy life by allowing the daily activities without unwarranted fatigue or physical stress is the physical wellness. Sexual wellness, Intellectual wellness, financial wellness and occupational wellness are also involved in developping overall wellness in humans.
