RDBMS:
RDBMS is relational database management system it is the root for
SQL. RDBMS is designed totally for relational model. The relational
model can be represented on a table with rows and column. Oracle is
an example of RDBMS.
Advantages:
RDBMS is based on rows and columns (table)so it is
easier to understand RDBMS work.
RDBMS support more than one user.
As it is advanced it can easily handle huge amount of
data.
Security is pretty good of RDBMS.
Disadvantages:
It is very much costly.
Special software's are required for RDBMS.
Comparison:
|
DBMS |
RDBMS |
|
|
User Availability |
It only support one user at a time. |
RDBMS supports more than one user at a time |
|
Security |
DBMS doesn’t have any kind of security |
There are multiple layers of security in RDBMS |
|
Usage |
DBMS is used to handle small amount of data |
RDBMS is used to handle huge sums of data |
|
Order |
Data is stored in forms of files |
Data in RDBMS is stored in the form of tables |
|
Speed |
DBMS takes time to load data |
RDBMS loads data faster. |
Oracle:
Oracle is a relational database it is a type of RDBMS. Oracle is mostly used in handling online transaction process. Oracle was build on the top of SQL. Oracle helps user to access data using SQL language

Part I— Just Bad Luck? Brrrring! Brrrring! Jane checked the caller ID on her phone. “Sam! Great!” she thought. It was always nice to get a call from her older brother. But a little twinge of worry tugged at her. It was just a couple of weeks ago that he had mentioned making an appointment with his doctor about some abdominal pain he had been having. “Hi Sam! It’s great to hear from you,” Jane answered. “Hi Jane. Well I...
Part A - SIR model for the spread of disease Overview. This part of the assignment uses a mix of theory and data to estimate the contact number c=b/k of an epidemic and hence to estimate the infection-spreading parameter b. The point is that once you know the value of b for a certain disease and population, you can use it in your model the next time there is an cpidemic, thus cnabling you to make predictions about the demand...

This C++ Program consists of: operator overloading, as well as experience with managing dynamic memory allocation inside a class. Task One common limitation of programming languages is that the built-in types are limited to smaller finite ranges of storage. For instance, the built-in int type in C++ is 4 bytes in most systems today, allowing for about 4 billion different numbers. The regular int splits this range between positive and negative numbers, but even an unsigned int (assuming 4 bytes)...

Detecting Substrings (C++ Version) Introduction A very common task that is often performed by programs that work with text files is the problem of locating a specific substring within the file. I am sure we’ve all done this many times when working with Word, Notepad, or other editors. Since we don’t have a GUI or other means of displaying the contents of a file all at once, let’s modify the problem slightly. Rather than locating a specific substring within a...
There was no question about Carl’s genius. Seven years ago he decided to enter the competitive nightmare that the personal computer business had become. Although on the surface that appeared to be a rather non-genius-like move, the genius came in the unique designs and features that he developed for his computer. He also figured a way to promise delivery in only two days for the local and regional market. Other computer makers also had rapid production and delivery, but they...
