Answer #1

Baldrige Enterprise is a public- private partnership in United States. It has a number of listed criterion indicators that act aggressively in deciding the success or the failure of any organisation in a long run. No matter what the type of an organisation is, but in order to maintain a steady growth in the long run there are some specific values that help the organisation in achieving the objectives as well as maintaining its worth in the market as a genuine competitor and entity.

In order to clear the importance of such results as seen in case of Baldrige Enterprise, let's try to understand the same by getting familiar with their importance in the long run for any organisation one by one as following-

1. Leadership and Governance-

These act as a backbone of any organisation as these are the only criterion on which the organisation depends upon in order to rise or fall at certain time. A good leader has a control over the management or we can say the government and he must be possessing efficient leadership skills and abilities to maintain such a stable rising governance. These can lead to continuous growth and development of an organisation in the long run.

Moreover, leaders have the abilities of coaching, strategizing, evaluating, influencing, motivating, coordinating and overseeing etc. so as to lead in a far better governance as possible to strengthen the organisation in an improved and optimised way.

2. Customer-

Customer has been declared as the king in the market as they have a direct impact in the public about any organisation. Plus in this modern era that is running with loads of technology and seamless reach and connectivity, it can change the situation tremendously overnight. One can have many examples of companies that came into spotlight on a negative note in the public because of negative customer reaction resulting in a negative brand image promoting negative values at global level.

To take care of such thing, one just only need to take care of the customer in the long run that is the only base for which an organisation to stand or to fall. Improved customer services from time to time, encouraging customer satisfaction, feedback consideration of the customer, customer complaint and grievances, quality and fair treatment etc. are some points that must be kept in mind in a long run to keep customers on a positive note for the organisation.

3. Workforce-

After the customers, there is the workforce or we can say the employees that work in an organisation to satisfy the customers by completing their demands and their performance is quite significant for the success of the organisation in the long run.

The main aim of the workforce is to achieve the assigned objectives well on time as per the projected plan. They must meet the deadlines and help in building a positive image in the market. In case of poor performance of the employees, the customers do not consider it quite trustworthy and reliable and build its negative image in the market. The adequate performance of the employees help building a positive work environment and and a positive image in the market along with steady growth in the long run.

4. Product and Operational Process-

Product Process or production is simply the conversion of raw material (input) into finished product (output) by increasing its value. This process has an impact directly over the customers and at the end over the organisation in the long run. It must result in fulfilling the needs of the customer by providing the best results as desired or demanded by the customer. Moreover, they must have an association with the marketing team so as to present the products in a way that no customer can back off from their offerings. Effective and efficient production helps in creating a positive value of the organisation in the long run.

Further, operation management is also having an impact over any organisation in the long run. It helps in managing both the products and the services. Operation Management works for the fulfilment of customer needs and provide them them the the product as desired in order to deal with customer satisfaction. For operation management, huge amount of capital is required since it is quite a broad part of any organisation. It is carrying a long term perspective in any organisation gaining both productivity and profitability in the long run as a positive result if everything is done quite effectively and efficiently.

5. Financial and Marketing Performance-

There are a number of financial performance indicators like cash flows, current ratios, working capital, debt to equity ratios, budgets, expenses, account payables/receivables, inventory, RoI etc. In order to maintain or to optimise the financial performance of any organisation these listed indicators are quite important to take control of the same so as to fight profit in the long term and rise positively on the growth curve.

Alongside financial performance, one must also keep track of the marketing performance as well for continuous growth in the long run. For this one have to keep track of the latest trends in the market, has to [lan or strategize accordingly, make efforts to attract customer base differently, discover and plot new trends in real time on the spot and other ways that can help making the marketing performance efficient so as to deal in a long run growing organisation.

Thus, these are some indicators that could benefit and harm any organisation accordingly based on how one deals with these implications to run an organisation.
