Diversity training is any curriculum designed to facilitate meaningful intergroup communication, minimize prejudice and discrimination, and generally teach people who are different from others how to work effectively together.

A lot of research has been done to explain the benefits of having a diverse workforce, many organizations proudly boasts themselves as an organization with diverse workforce but all of the benefits which have been put out by the researchers are subjective in nature and it does not help corporations to find out how exactly diverse workforce helps in increasing the profits of an organization. The researchers may argue that the profits will be increased indirectly by the benefits which are achieved after having a diverse workforce. In the years of research and study this fact couldn’t be established by any researcher that how and what profits an organization can achieve after hiring and training a diverse workforce.

Since in the global age when companies are hunting for talent all over the world diversity at workforce cannot be avoided but the expenses which are made on the training of these professionals can be avoided because all the people who are working at junior middle or senior level management in an organization are educated and qualified enough to work in diverse teams and I see no need of any training to be provided to these executives.

Companies first use its precious time and resources in finding a diverse workforce and then they shell out a lot of money on training programmes without even knowing what benefits they are going to get from these training programs.

The companies should invest in the growth and development of its employees as but those expenses should not be made on diversity training programs until and unless it is proved that the organizations are going to get a real benefit out of it.
