WORKPLACE NEGATIVITY
Most of the time of our busy life we spent at our workplace making it our second home. The workplace attitude does matter as if effects our behavior, attitude , relationships, productivity and even our health. The negative behavior or negativity at our workplace does play an important role in our workplace productivity and creativity. Being optimistic at work makes it more fun and easy but with negative people around these could be declined in no time making oneself irritated and frustrated with work.
There are various types of employees which create negativity at workplace :
1. Complainers : They always complaint about the organisation and the work process making it difficult for others to work. These employees have complaint about any and every thing. These types of people cause negative work environment. The productivity of an employee decreases with due course of time.
2. Gossips : The Gossips are mainly the reason for fake rumors and workplace biased-ness. It creates unbalanced work equilibrium between the employees and even in a project team. Therefore, Gossips should be avoided.
3. Credit snatchers: Certain employees act as vultures as they take credit for the work which is done by the other employee making his/her hardwork go in vain. This creates frustration amongst the employees and no work satisfaction.
4. Lazy Employees : These employees just to act as they are working but have no creative input towards the work. It makes the colleagues suffer because of their lack of interest at work.
Negativity at work could be avoided if a person is concerned about their work and nothing else. If you get indulged in any of the above activities it causes lack of interest at work and making you less productive and more frustrated.
